Finding the best posts out there in the blogosphere can be an overwhelming goal. On the wordpress.com home page, for instance, they note that they host over 3 million blogs. Add to this number the blogs on Blogger, Blogspot, Typepad and elsewhere on the web and that’s a whole lot of posts to sort through.
When you don’t know where to start, it can help to get recommendations from friends with similar interests. Here are links to a few of the great blogs I’ve discovered this spring. If you like the kind of stuff you read here on a daily basis, there’s a good chance you’ll find these blogs interesting, too:
1. The Tasting Menu: Like me, the duo who blog here are fascinated with the science of taste and the role each of our senses plays in the eating experience.
2. Canela & Comino: Spreading the news about Peruvian cooking is the mission at this blog; however, the content transcends the local to deliver great ideas that can be applied anywhere in the world.
3. Cutting the Cheese: All cheese all the time – this new blog holds tremendous promise. Pop by for polls, ethnic cheese news and discussions about classic cheese recipes.
4. Cannelle-Vanille: Besides being a lovely writer and a very accomplished baker, this Florida-based blogger is also a truly excellent photographer. I love browsing through the pictures of her beautiful creations!
Is there a food blog you love? If so, please take a moment to tell me about it.
